I mean, they have a border checkpoint in the county right? So they are supposed to be protecting the border. However, they have nothing better to do than bust Willie Nelson's tour bus, which wasn't going to cross the border in the first place.

Then you have a judge who obviously wanted to make Willie appear in court on a ridiculous charge so the county could get on the map. Now she's backing away from that.

These things always end the same. Willie will pay some kind of fine and he'll walk, as he should. Let's get back to real life.

This isn't justice. It's a tax on musicians with tour buses.

It is precisely justice, green. Let's review:

    Marijuana possession is illegal.

He was found in possession of marijuana.

He was arrested for said possession. Are ya' following me so far?

He was given a court date for said offense; movin' fast now...stay with me.

He is copping a(nother) plea to the charge.

Like it or not, Mr Beans, that is a textbook example of justice in action. As far as his crimes of tax evasion go; that's an entirely different legal issue.

I don't know why marijuana is illegal anyway. I say legalize it and tax it!

You don't have to know why it's illegal. You only have to know that it is illegal.
