Britney has no voice, is a medicore dancer, and is well passed her expiration date. Don't get me wrong, some of her songs are great but there are more talented people to listen to that are much more interesting than Britney. Artists that can sing, dance, and don't have the train wreck baggage around their necks.

I wish Britney the best of luck, but her glory days are done and gone.

She reminds me of John Daly and golf. It is her flaws that endear her to her fans. They see what would likely be their own failures in her inability to easily handle fame and fortune.

We always see criticism of artists like Britney and Bieber but they are just the lucky ones. The ones who defied the odds and made it to the top. It isn't about sheer talent it is now about marketability...ever seen Miley Cyrus sing live? Yikes! And Britney rarely sings anymore at all. Odd since she did sing live all of the time as a child.

The most talented of musicians are often rarely heard. To many of them fame and fortune are not the end game. It is all about the music. It is no coincidence that other people make the music that drives Britney. Most of them rarely seen. As someone who has worked with electronic music extensively they do a good job. There have been some very interesting sounds used on her last few albums. Remove Britney and you have a decent techno sound.

Pop music pablum has been around for decades. It is up to the individual to seek out alternatives. You can either be part of the mass consumption society or you can find your own niche. Don't ever expect the average tween who buys this kind of stuff to do the latter.

This shows how talented Gaga is to have makes up and FASHION to get attention. SHE IS GENIUS. Would anyone make herself ugly just because she doesn't want to get attention? Nevertheless, GAGA's music is always the best.

Really? How old are you because anyone older than 20 could tell you that Lady Gaga's current hit is an almost identical version of Madonna's "Respect Yourself". "Alejandro" is also so similar to Madonna's "La Isla Bonita" that almost every initial review of the song made mention of it. Lady Gaga is more hype than original talent. She is a far better self-promoter that musical talent.

As a side note, Rolling Stone Magazine rated Lady Gaga's studio version of "Telephone" the #5 Top Song of 2010.....but they rated Brittany's raw test run version of the same song as the #2 Top Song of 2010. Basically, they felt Brittany did a better version singing it unedited than Gaga did after remixing and polishing it in the studio.

I thought the purpose of ANY artist worthy of being classified as an artist was supposed to shock people, to get people to think outside the box. Those who are shocked are exposed to a new realm of thinking or understanding or viewing the world around them. They walk away from the concert, exhibit, etc. and they appreciation for the work(s) they exposed to themselves to.

If you want some 29 year old soon to be cougar singing about the same stuff she's sang about for the last 10 years then fine, that's your choice. However, it's the boring choice as you will walk away from a Britney Spears concert with the same ideals you had before you entered that concert or listened to that cd.

Britney Spears is a singer. The majority of her songs were written by SONGWRITERS, not her.

Now, as for the lipsynching, imagine if Beethoven or Mozart were alive today and it was determined their orchestras were not playing their instruments, rather pretending to play while a pre-recorded, computerized version of their symphoy was played to the audiences.

Britney Spears is turning into the Michael Jordan or Brett Favre of the music industry, she doesn't know when to quit. Her time and her talent has passed to a generation who actually has talent, rather than being a simply a tits and ass show. Lady Gaga may flaunt her T&A but at least she can play piano and write her own music.

If you're going to criticize Britney for having songwriters write her songs then you should say the same for GaGa and her so-called shock worthy wardrobe because all her looks are from runways that are dated back to the 80's to even today that she knocks off, most of her Little monsters think that she is original about it but they are knock offs! I love Lady GaGas music and Britney's and have been to both their shows and can say that Britney's fans have a much better experience from her show even if she lip syncs.

I have to agree. I'm no fan of Britney, Lady GaGa or Rhianna, however, comparing Britney to Lady Ga Ga is a stretch. She may be odd but she does have a great voice. I've heard her when I lived in NYC and in those small dark clubs with just her and a piana was a pure delight. Britney doesn't have the voice at all. She calls herself a "dancer," and that's enough to invoke laughter. Just because she can land a few steps taught to her by a choreographer and suddenly she's a dancer. She obviosly has never been taught the discipline of a real trained dancer. I think we haven't seen a new pop diva since the likes of Mariah, Whitney, etc. I'm sure one will come along soon and we will all be ..."Lady who?"

I didn't like lady Gaga at the beginning, lately I have become more interested. Have you ever listened to a slow version of Bad Romance? I watched a dancer perform that song and it about ripped my heart out. Not all of her lyrics are completely without thought.

To say that Britney looks better than Katy Perry is pushing it... Perhaps when Britney was much younger you could argue your point, but now at 29 she is almost over the hill (which is quite sad but true) in the world of show business. Her youth is gone my friend get over it.

I don't think its an oversensitivity issue. I love a good racist/sexist/polital joke any day. I just consider name calling such as yours to be beneath standards of good humor. Name-calling can be classified a lot of ways. If I called someone an a-hole- that is name calling. If I refer to Justin Bieber as Just a Beaver; Leave it to Bieber, etc. then I don't consider that some verbal assault as you imply.
