I was surprisingly pleased. Steven Tyler is my new favorite cat daddy!! Excited for the new season now.

Steven Tyler was hilarious, but J.Lo was a bit blah.

Have not watched for several years but tuned in to see Steven and he was so funny! Good choice on picking Steven. J.Lo does nothing for me.

After the disasterous last season, I vowed not to watch AI again. I like ST and JL on the panel. I really enjoyed the show.

Tyler: spoke/acted in the moment, honest, true to himself; Lopez: Paula lite (and I like Paula), may struggle in live shows.

      they were so much better than Simon Cowell. Majority of the people are saying this is the way it should have been from the beginning! GREAT

        I could love Idol again, YEAH for Steven Tyler and J Lo. They were excellent. Do I miss Kara or Simon and his rudeness - ABSOLUTELY NOT !

        We still need honest assessments. Multiple times, they let people through because they couldn't stomach saying NO. Pls, no whimps allowed

        I was actually surprised that I loved these judges far better than any other ones from other seasons! I expected to hate them!

        they both have the extensive music experience and backgrounds, and are super-successful in their own right, whereas simon was such a prick.

        Refreshing. Fun. Crazy. The new judges were enjoyable. I agree, Tyler is a wild-man, he'll keep the censors working overtime!
