michael bolton worked hard on his dance and did the very best job that he was able. his partner cooked up the doghouse entrance and that was unfortunate. mr bolton derved more respect than he received. the judges were very unkind and untactful. this is an amature show after all and i hope that the judges appologize to mr bolton.

I agree, the stars that come on this program are NOT dancers, they depend on the professional dancers they are paired with to teach them what they need to know and do. Yet the judges slam the stars, it is the professionals who need to get the critisisim. Bruno gets a 1 for last nights mark for Michael Bolton

The 3 score should have gone to Bristol Palin for her wooden dancing. She was much better last week (her first dance). The judges were really wrong both times. The scores should have been reversed.

You are so wrong on Bristol Palin. For a beginner in DWTS she does great. Naturally, Bolton should not have earned a 3. Those two male judges need to be replaced. They have been there too long and one is too old and they do not know how to score the dancers. All the dancers have done a good job. You cannot compare them because they all do a different dance and are good at what they do.

The dance WAS hideous, but even worse were Bruno's remarks! They were totally uncalled for!

That wasn't anyones best. Standing up straight and staying over your feet are the first lesson given in the first minute you spend at any dance school. As for compassisons to Palin one is a professional entertainer, the other a teenager and the teenager at least learned the most basic of the basics.

I felt sorry for Bolton but Toni was right and the Judges were wrong with Bristol. She was as bad as he was. I guess they all played to "Mommy" to please her. Guy's get some back bones. Also what about the big deal about the "Hoff". Maybe he should have stayed in Germany if he want's his ego stroked. But I think I'm doing him wrong with this. He left gracefully. It's the rest who makes a big deal out of this.

If you think you can dance better than Palin then try your luck. And what does your mother do for a living. Bristol's mother makes millions and doesn't sit around like a little house wife.

The day that Bristol P. can dance as good as Jennifer Grey, I'll give her my pickup truck. That was quite an insult to JG and Derek.

              Pandering to the right?

I totally agree that Kate was absolutely horrible! She could barely move (almost as bad as Buzz Aldrin), and I don't recall her getting a score of 3. Yes, Michael isn't the best dancer, and maybe it wasn't his best effort, but the extremely harsh criticism by Bruno was so severe. His remarks last night were as bad as Gordon Ramsey's brutal remarks to other chefs. No one should be treated with such disrespect and ridicule.

Good for Bruno! Finally, an honest rating! Yes I agree last season Kate was much worse and should have gotten a 2. I also think then Len should get off his high horse. He has been just as rude and disrespectful at times. And for crying out loud the other judges gave a 4 and a 5. What's the difference? Bad is Bad.

A lifetime ago, I judged rodeo queen contests. The real ones. Horsemanship, knowledge of horses and questions that weren't about world peace. :-) We always had someone who became angry and upset because they didn't think they deserved a low score. Usually it was a parent. :-)

Granted, Bruno didn't have to say what he said but Michael Bolton can't dance. I noticed that he also was making excuses and at one time I believe he said "I am Michael Bolton". Well, that will get a cup of coffee if you add $3.00 to it.

When someone enters a competition and there are judges who are going to talk to you and award scores publicly, you know what you're getting in for. I don't care if you are Elvis Presley. If you can't dance, you can't dance.

Michael Bolton needs to man up. He was horrible - and there isn't a person out there who didn't think so. He was wooden, and for a singer, had absolutely no rhythm while dancing. Should he have gotten a 3? I think so. Should Kate have gotten a 3 last season - definitely. I thought Bolton was the rude one. Part of the deal is going on Jimmy Kimmel, etc. He would have none of it because his feelings were hurt. Sorry Michael, you don't get a pass because you can sing.

Judges are too hard the first few weeks. these people are amateurs and have to

get into shape, they need encouragement. Harsh remarks will keep other people

from coming on to the show. Let's make it fun and lively. If I wanted to watch

Stress and worry I would go to another show.

I personally think Michael Bolton belongs in that infamous group of "worst dancers" that has been a part of this show: Master P, Steve Wozniak, Kate Gosslin, etc. He may be a singer but he is no dancer and try as he might, he looks uncomfortable, clumsy and lost. He deserved the 3. I think he will be leaving soon.

And why with all the economy, national debt, war. . . does this deserve space on MSNBC? Simple: Because in times of crisis (and we have plenty coming at us from every angle), it gives us something else to think about that does NOT affect us personally.

These stars didn't come into this program as professional dancers. They are there to learn as they go. The judges forget this. The judges need to understand the stars are a work in progress. Bruno's remarks were way out of line. He needs to apologize on tonites show.

Bruno was out of line in his comments to Michael Bolton. The man deserves constructive criticism, not a public flogging. These contestants didn't give up their lives to be berated by a judge. He did not deserve a 3. Bruno owes a public apology to Michael.

While he is not a good dancer, Bruno totally forgot what this show is about. Here is someone who was not only sick but is also touring and he is learning and trying to be a dancer, it was just harsh. Also, while I love Chelsie she focused on the wrong thing, the gimmicks etc. instead of the basics and the steps. Someone w/out natural talent needs basics basics basics. It was a sad situation and I think Bruno needs to full on apologize for being rude.

Wow I can't believe those comments. This is an entertainment show with amateurs not a professional dance competition. The comments on Michael Bolton were totally not necessary. I am disappointment on the seriousness and conviction Bruno had in his tone. I don't care who it was it was totally unacceptable. I think it was a disgusting comment and attitude.

Bruno's comment was ridiculous and completely unnecessary! I can name 4 "celebrities" whose dancing was worse than Bolton's: Kenny Mayne, Tucker Carlson, Jerry Springer, and Kate Gosselin! Master PEE could dance; he just didn't give a dang! Bolton DOES give a dang and puts all he has into it. Some people can naturally dance and others can't. To run Bolton down like that was just plain mean and nasty.

                    To Bruno,

I am a 65 year old woman who was thoroughly disgusted by your lack of class regarding your comments about Michael Bolton. Your 3 score for him was insulting and unwarranted. The hours these contestants put into a show which gives you the limelight to degrade them at the very least deserves a 5. Your celebrity has gone to your head and it is now becoming the BRUNO show. You single-handedly made it a very uncomfortable moment for we viewers. Michael Bolton was classy you were not.

I thought they were unnecessarily harsh.  I think he does deserve to get voted off tonight (not saying it will happen).  But the remarks and the low "3" score were out of line.  This is the first season I've watched this show, but I'm getting tired of it really quickly, because it's obvious the producers have already picked a winner, and they're going to pimp that contestant to death.  The only reason I keep watching the show is because of Kyle, he's pretty good and for being the least-known person at the beginning, he's really made an impression and seems to have a good personality for this type of show.

Exactly what I thought. Bruno totally humiliated Michael. There have been many who were much worse. Some who didn't even really try. And the train wreck that is Kate Gossellin - she should've gone home the first week and definitely deserved harsh criticism. Granted, Michael Bolton was never going to win the competition but he didn't deserve the treatment he received from Bruno. Bruno's comments were venomous and definitely reeked of some underlying issues he has. I'm glad Michael had a chance to rebuke Bruno for his disrepectful comments - but he showed disrepect again by slapping his own hand. I think it's perhaps time to change judges - or put a period on the show and let it just drift off into the sunset. And I'm a fan.

How humilliating! Plus, Michael Bolton has zero personality. I think that is what's hurting him more than anything. I'm also getting tired of his little remarks about being so busy with other projects. Then, why did he sign up for "Dancing..." He needs to go!
