why are tracking dogs wasting their time on some dog that was seen being taken by coyotes, when there are people in the world who are missing

Man, I think about her pooch all the time. OH...she means her dog. Sorry. My bad. Well, looking at her tummy, did anyone check to see if she ate it?

I'm sure anyone who has ever lost a beloved companion animal can empathize with Jessica's pain. It is a grief like no other.

It never goes away but, in time, we learn to live with it as it is offset by the joy we had together.

The Jessica Simpson piece was in the entertainment section. If you don't like this kind of "news" why do you read it? Oh yeah!?!?! So you can make negative comments because that is all you got. Negatibe comments.

Sorry about your pooch (dog) Jessica. I lost my pooch (dog) in my divorce. I sure do miss that dog.

Yeah they forgot to add how Martha Stewart was getting on her about her actually expressing feelings for her dog. I wanted to to burn every Martha Stewart item I HAD own. I really felt sorry for Simpson losing her dog and still do.

It's too bad that some people are such subhuman jerks that they have no compassion or empathy. Too bad their parents were so ignorant and taught them nothing in the realm of human kindness. They are very obviously the products of extremely poor parenting skills. Is there any wonder people love pets more than most people?

Jessica lost a little one she loved. Can't those who are so quick to make stupid comments understand her grief or is it the old disgusting selfish idea that if it doesn't affect them, they can't be bothered? Yet these societal outcasts are the first ones to moan, cry and expect everyone to empathize with them when something does affect them. Doesn't work that way. You give no support, you get none when you need it. It doesn't cost anything to be kind.

I feel sorry for Jessica and understand her sense of deep loss. Those who don't simply have never loved so have no right to criticize her. At least she has feelings, that's much more than can be said for the ignorant losers who make ugly comments.

I LOVE my current pets and continue to mourn the ones I've lost. I feel for Jessica Simpson for the sorrow she still has but after one year do we really feel this is news worthy?

I can relate to her love for her dog. I lost my dog lucky 2 months ago and I still miss her so very much. Just know that time heals all wounds Jessica and I really hope that Daisy did not suffer much. Peace and Love Always

I hope Jess considers adopting a new pup eventually, as there are many dogs in shelters in need of love and care.

What an awful thing to go through; especially being not quite sure whether your dog is alive or not. My heart goes out to anyone who has lost their dog, they give so much and become such a big part of any dog owners life....
