I was just singing Sunny early Monday morning because my man and I have decided to take our relationship to another level. May you rest in peace. Your music brought joy to millions of hearts. Thank you for sharing your gift of music with the world.
Rest in peace, Bobby - and Thank You. Sunny was my favorite song as a child, and at 50 it still continues to be. May the Heavens light your path home....
Bobby, Hoping the days in Heaven are all Sunny for You. Say " Hi " to our Creator & all my Family & Musical Friends. Rest in Peace, My Musical Brother.
I can remember being in St. Louis while the Arch was being built and hearing Sunny for the first time. That song has stayed with me for the past 40 years. God Bless you and your family.
I loved the song "Sunny" and used to go to sleep listening to the radio hoping to hear it. This was in 1966-1967. Thanks for the music and memories. Now I'm going to hum Sunny for the remainder of the day.
One evening a few years back I was in the Glouster/Newburyport area of Massachusetts and I was sitting at a club and I heard a musician signing sonny; I introduced myself and to my surprise it was bobby hebb. He was quite humble and receptive to all the patrons. A nice guy; we all miss you. A great guy and a great song.

The ERA,this song was sang in by Bobby is gone forever. It meant something to anyone who could relate to the sentiment behind it,and you could hear and understand the words, unlike today where you talk(NOT SING) obscenities, wave your hand in front of your face, grab your crotch, and laden yourself with tattoos.
Back when the musicians were (mostly) homely and the music was great. Now the musicians are for the most part pretty MTV fashionistas and the music and strutting around is pretty awful.
I was deeply saddened to hear that Bobby Hebb had pasted away. A guy like him comes along maybe once in a life time; someone who can write a song and have it's essence felt by more people at one time that you can count. He really made a difference by creating a benchmark for personal reflection. I never realized how many people hold fond memories of 1966 and Bobby Hebb called us all together one last time. Thank you, Bobby; we all love you.
Loved that song.....Great memories of the 60's!!
R.I.P, Bobby. Your song will always be timeless and immortal.
I always liked that song "Sunny." The lyrics moved the heart and touched the soul. May you rest in peace Bobby Hebb.
Bobby, may you sing with the angels....
A true testimony of how powerful a smile can be. Rest in peace
