Its "crap" to you because you dont understand it or relate to it! The youth of today, most of which think that its HOT! I personally dont care for it but, I wont go as far as to bash it like you are ......do you remember when you were young and your parents HATED your music and thought it was DEVIL music? Or worse? But you LOVED it, I do, hence I tell my kids to play it where I cant HEAR it because if I do, im turning it off COMPLETELY so they listen to all types of music - no matter, if i dont like it, im not going to tolerate the blaring out my eardrums over their taste in music ....

The problem with the "youth of today" thinking that RAP music is hot is because of what rappers are "rapping" about. It's promoting violence, both gang related and against women, it's downright abusive towards women. It also promotes the "no snitching" when someone gets killed. I have actually heard of killings around hundreds of people, yet no one saw a thing. Of course, some instances of people "not seeing a thing" is due to simply not wanting to get involved and then there's the fear of retaliation for being a "snitch."

In my opinion, there is not one good thing about RAP and I certainly do not consider it "music."

His uncle should have never bailed him out years ago. He acts like he is completely above the law.

This idiot was my neighbor for 4 years here in Arizona. We are certainly glad to see him gone. He is a real drugged out criminal and needs to spend his life behind bars!

He NEVER learns! He got away with impersonating an FBI agent at an airport, and carjacking somebody, with 17 crack rocks in his pocket. And he still does this dumb stuff.

Good for you to get him out of your neighborhood.

the bank took his home on a repo. But not after the drama of a couple seiges with the Sheriffs office! Good ridance to bad garbage! The new people are a really nice family. Although, but a bit excentric in addition to buying DMX's house they also own 2pac's hummer.

The courts should sentence this lil guy to some REAL jail time, and once he has completed that, should be mandated to a year in REHAB!!! After which, if hes stopped for flicking a cigarette .....BACK TO THE POKEY YOU GO!!!

He isnt learning his lesson, because the courts are just too lenient on celebrities! He'll wind up dead somewhere from drug use or worse .......so sad!

Who cares if he winds up dead from drug use? It is his choice. In a supposedly "free" country, what business is it of the government to be concerned with what adults put in to or do with their bodies of their own free will?

What an idiot!  He had the world in his hands, and choose to let his drug use and movie roles take over his life.  Acting like he's a real federal agent, doing cocaine....keep his dumb ass in jail this time.

I dont understand why some of you are calling rap not music - because it is a form of musical expression just as country pop gospel jazz classic etc .. just because you dont understand it dosent mean it is so called Crap like you say - but i thing is for sure there is a definite difference between Rap and Hip-Hop music. but some of you are so shallow to realize that - I personally am NOT a fan of todays rap music but i do respect it for what it is just as I respect the above mentioned genres.. And if you are stereotyping rap music due to artist as Soulja Boy , Lil Wayne , Gucci Man , TI etc ..then of course you will think the way you do. but you probably never heard of a man named Common who raps about positive thoughts in men and treating ALL women with respect and dignity , or KRS-1 who pioneered hip-hop, Africa bambada... names like these get put on the back burner because radio wont play them because of what they symbolize.. and its not what sells to youth now. Just as you cant sterotype rap due to 1 -2 artist - you cant sterotype other musice off of 1 -2 artist because every genre has an artist that has done something wrong - yes even gospel .. but hey to each is on - but I really encourage you not to hate something so bad that you dont understand - or understand little of.
