I wish women on TV could just be characters instead of constantly being evaluated as role models.

I'm not even the new season shows...over 40 people lamenting that they're over 40. Who has time for whining over what you can't control?

I watch TV to escape, not to be reminded about how bad my life is. But, if I had a choice, I'd go for Roseanne, my life is just as crappy.

          "That Girl" presented TV's first single career woman living alone. Ann Marie wasn't a perfect feminist, but she made Mary Richards possible
