No more 'Jon & Kate' after November

Our long national nightmare is finally over. "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which in recent months had become just about as fun as reliving your parents' divorce, will stop filming new episodes next month, according to the New York Post.

    Finally.

It is funny how people take sides in this show about two douschebags.

If you honestly are interested in the show, you might want to check out getting a life.

I've never sat through one entire, single episode, but I just want it cancelled so I don't have to see it in the news every day.

I wish it was already gone.

These two ego-driven "parents" need to get away from the cameras and start being real parents.

I feel sorry for their kids. At this point, on TV or off, there are a lot of problems in that family.

Good. However, Kate needs to put the kabosh on Jon's plans to film the kids on his own show.

He can't have his cake and eat it too. Major hypocrite he is.

(don't get me wrong, I don't like either one, but Jon's recent behavior leaves much to be desired).

Thanks heavens! Now I can stop hitting myself in the head with the claw end of a hammer because that was less painful than CONSTANTLY hearing about the two frickin' LOSERS!

Side note: I hope someone other than these scumball parents have been looking out for the kids in terms of royalties and other such stuff from the show.

      #2.2 - Thu Oct 15, 2009 2:16 PM EDT

Don't be surprised to find the Producers hook Octomom and Kate up together!!! Then we all can really throw up!! I am sick to death of seeing their ugly faces and hearing how they want to defend what great Mothers they are! Those are 16 children we really need to feel sorry for! They all need to go away forever and Jon with them! Why would any one ever be interested in No-Talent, No- Anything to watch on TV? Any one who watched it or would watch Octomom on her show have to be Idiots, complete Morons who have NO LIFE!! Talk about scraping the Bottom of the Barrell!! TVShows are going in the sewer if they can't produce better shows than this!!

First of all, why on earth did anyone care what this family did in the first place and why does anyone care now? Someone please slap me the day I am so bored with living life that I have to watch somone elese life on TV!

Why did anyone care? Follow the money. TLC cared. The "Learning" Channel sold enough advertising to hype a show that exploited a family needing their children for a meal ticket. And evidently some people watched the pseudo family story in anticipation of the train wrecks that happen in life. They got that.

Also K&J care. They have become celebrities in their own minds and are fighting over who gets top billing, unaware that they are as welcome as a swarm of mosquitos with most people. Let's hope J&K have saved for a rainy day and will be able to adjust to life out of the limelight - with new budget restrictions. The reality of J&K+8 was commercialism.

Nah. Jon's not worth any prayers.

          ;-)

Seriously, I've posted this above, but Kate needs to ensure HE isn't able to film the kids on his own show either. He has shown what a hypocrite he is just in the past few days.

If as Kate states "the kids are crying since the film crew left"....maybe that should tell her something - is that normal?

Guess this means the end of "all the freebies"...now the kids may really enter into "reality"...no front of the lines, front row seats, backstage access, special treatment..now a true "reality show".

To all the Kate apologists - this is just good Karma. How will she possibly raise the kids without the 2 million a year and free everything? Like the rest of the world does!

Maybe her next show can be "Kate- plus -8-in a Doublewide"

As for Jon, he certainly has made some mistakes but he does love the kids and it is apparent, even with editing, that the kids love him as well.

Which ever side one may be on the issue of Jon and Kate - it has been pretty consistent by the majority of commenters in the past that this show needed to end for the betterment of the kids.

The true winners in this are the kids. This should've ended a long time ago.......like before they moved out of their "normal house" and into a mansion that they obviously got from exploiting their kids. Kate - please don't go on "Today" tomorrow and whine about not being able to pay your bills. Seriously - we're all done with it. And Jon - buddy - you really need to grow up and quit being a jack— — _! Welcome to the RW where the rest of us have to work and live paycheck to paycheck to support our families. It's a lot of fun, isn't it? I only hope there hasn't been permanent damage to the kids....the 2 older girls already act like they're entitled to everything and whine when they don't get their way. Guess they've been paying attention to mom & dad.

All I can say is thank goodness!

The viewers have spoken. These people have nothing worthwhile to offer. Had they chosen to disagree and BOTH go to marital counseling, it may have taken a different turn. Even if it ended in a split, it would have shown people that, where children are involved, this would be the right step to take. If counseling fails to reunite them, then child psycologists should be brought in to educate the parents on how to treat your kids and your mate after a divorce. Then the show could have ended. This way, we're only seeing Kate, as the poor mistreated wife and Jon as the philandering husband. Neither is the truth. Maybe TLC could plan an ending nore beneficial for viewers rather than depicting Kate as the poor, sad, single mom.
