It seemed wildly overblown

He made a mistake. He has issues to deal with. He apologized. She accepted it. MTV can give him a 1 year timeout or something. Enough

Agree completely. If it was Katy, Lady Gaga, Pink, or Kelly - they'd handle it MUCH differently. Taylor is just a nice young girl!

Too not be offended by such rude and disrespectful behaviour only perpetuates the downward spirls of civilness in our society.

Kanye was rude. He ruined the special moments it shoud have been for Taylor. He spoke
with disrespect and arrogance, too. Stupid and mean.

Until that night, I had never heard of her. She should thank him and move on. For the record, he is a moron.

If we don't have a strong reaction, it will continue to happen. Rude is rude. Enough is enough.

I'm sick of him and how he acts. He has no right to think he can do what he does. I wish he would go away forever

All I said was the guy was a jerk, which I think is hard to refute.

West deserves all the Karma he is so swiftly recieving. The universe responds to your actions.

Just like with professional athletes, performers should be fined by their record companies for doing dumb things.

The reaction to Kanye is due to the fact that he's an overbearing bore who thinks his opinion matters more than anyone else's. He's a jerk

Heaven forbid if she did that to him!! They would be calling her a racist for the same act.

If it was the other way around you wouldn't have heard enough of how rude it was or how racist it was.

To watch an innocent be hurt incites anger in most people. Kanye gave his opinion, & now he is receiving every one elses. It's justified.

He bullied a young girl - since when should that be tolerated? If he went after Eminem or another of his peers, then it would be diferent.

He took a moment away from Taylor that she can't have back. He wasn't interrupted in his first win! This isn't a race issue!

It's time to set parameters of behavior that we can all adhere. Joe Wilson was so over the top and responded to impulse not intelligence.

Kanye has repeatedly proven he has no class. Antics like this give him no credibility. He should be banned from all future awards shows.

I'm surprised even President Obama gave his opinion. I didn't think it would get covered as much as it did. This is Kanye West though...

He is a self richeous jerk, and that kind of behavior is not appropriate anywhere. He deserves all of the criticism. Pink was right.

It wasn't what was SAID, it was the ACTION: To interrupt is rude, to seize control of the microphone was rude, to hurt is rude.

West did something mean and impolite, but it was in a forum that's seen that sort of thing before. Sad for Swift, but not highly shocking.
